This is what we heard on our hike at Mill B South Trail.....

Mill B South Trail

October 9th, the day before Austin's birthday! We chose a short hike today, 0.7 miles. Paul had gone hunting with Nathan Paxman, a missionary who served in our ward in Texas, early that morning. We weren't expecting him to be with us. He called shortly after we left, so we went back to get him. The sounds of the creek were so wonderful and soothing to hear. The kids are really looking forward to each Saturday adventure. It is great spending time with them outdoors.

Donut Falls Trail

Our Saturday Utah adventures began with the Donut Falls trail. 1.7 miles leading up to Donut Falls where the kids climbed, ran and loved the outdoors. The views were breathtaking and I enjoyed being in such a beautiful place. When I am in the mountains, I feel close to God. It brought back so many memories of Girls Camp in the SanBernardino mountains. Being in nature is a spiritual experience. Taking in all that God created for our enjoyment.

The Utah Adventure

Began our adventure leaving Texas for Utah on September 28th. The kids are excited to see snow and I am looking forward to time with Jennifer, adventures with the kids, and living my dream of living in Utah, however short is may be.

Vitamin D from the Sun

Enjoyed the sunshine with the kids today. Its nice to get out of the dreary weather that has seemed to plague us this winter. I am looking forward to daylight savings time. Teddy LOVES to be outside and says dog over and over. Sarah, Allison and Susan created beautiful artwork on the sidewalk and Mikey enjoyed the swing and running around. I appreciated the beautiful sun, the budding leaves on the trees, the grass turning green again and the laughter of my beautiful children. The boys are all away at scout camp. Paul Sr. and I worked in the kitchen together and that was really nice. Beans, rice and rolls for dinner, simple but filling and the kids ate grapes when we got the kitchen done. Sitting here craving warm cookies but not sure if I want to take the time to bake them.
